| Upcoming Events: We will begin having adult mini training session during our regular scout meetings. Topics will include Youth Protection Training, Freinds of Scouting presentation, Merit Badge Counselor Training. Keep your eyes open for more information in the near future. Troop 446 Spring Camping Trip April 27th-29th - The scouts have decided to plan their own outing instead of the district Camporee. More details will be dicussed at the next troop meeting. We have several small jobs that need to be filled from our adult ranks. These jobs range from Troop Committee Chair to individual Outing Coordinators. While we require every family to register an adult leader with the troop, we have fallen short on the ideal of having every family with an active adult leader. Please help us plan and execute the best program possible for our boys. Troop Junior Leader Training - June 1st and 2nd. (should be done by noon on Saturday) This will be for all scouts elected or appointed to leadership positions in May. Required for SPL and Patrol Leaders. The Northeast District is serving as a pilot district for a new national program dubbed "The Ideal Year of Scouting" This program will place an emphasis on planning, funding and training for our program.
