| I hope everyone had a terrific and relaxing Spring Break. I know I did. We had an extremely successful Advancement Campout. We had over 30 scouts attend and a lot was accomplished. Special thanks to all the parents who helped make this campout successful. Also recognition should go to our SPL Michael M. and ASPL Philip B. for their leadership, to Joe K. for his leadership by example and a terrific campfire program, to our Chaplain's Aide Michael O. for a terrific Sunday service and mealtime grace, to our kitchen crew Per J., Brian S. and Ben P. for tireless service and some great Oreo pudding and also to Ben P for his foresight in having us reserve the (heated) dining room for the weekend ( God Bless the Quartermaster). I would like to encourage all eligible scouts to consider attending White Stag Junior Leader Training. You must be 13 and first class by the first day of camp. Dates for camp are June 17-23 or July 8-14. Most boys who attend claim this is one of their best experiences in their scouting career.
