The latest complete Eagle project workbook in Word format.
Some details that may be news to you:

There is no maximum or minimum number of hours for a successful Eagle project - it is only necessary that the project be large enough that the candidate has the opportunity to display leadership.  A rough rule of thumb would suggest that if the total time ( including planning ) is less than 40, you had better have thought through whether you will have the opportunity to demonstarte leadership in the project.

YOU CANNOT DO ANY WORK ON YOUR PROJECT OTHER THAN PLANNING PRIOR TO RECEIVING APPROVAL FOR YOUR PROJECT FROM THE DISTRICT COMMITTEE.  This includes sending out announcements as to the date.  If you do, your project will NOT be approved.

Your Scoutmaster or other leader must present your completed Eagle packet to the District Eagle Board at least two weeks prior to your Eagle Board.  Note the Scout does not have to be present but the unit leader does!!!

The Scoutmaster ( or other unit leader ) must present the candidate to the Board at the Board of review.  This is not a new requirement but will be recieving renewed emphasis.  EAGLE CANDIDATES - IT'S YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO LET YOUR UNIT LEADER KNOW WHEN YOUR APPOINTMENT IS!
