Throughout the World today there are many Scout Groups and Associations that have chosen to follow the original programme as devised by the late founder Lord Baden-Powell 0f Gilwell. Because they have chosen this path they are not recognised, and are unable to register with the :World organization of the Scout Movement".
The Alliance has been formed so that these groups can belong to an international organization that will foster frienship and co-operation in the true spirit of Scouting.
There are no fees for membership, and the organization is decentralized into regions, this gives every member a say in it's management.
The Alliance is not involved with the internal management of members, and imposes no demands, and the only requirement to become a member is that the applicant must satisfy that they are following the original programme, and accept the original Law and Promise given by the founder.
The sole object ot the Alliance is to foster friendship and co-operation between it's members.
