PERSONAL EQUIPMENT CHECKLIST

FALL / WINTER

 

1.    Official Scout Uniform -  MUST be worn for traveling

a)  Scout Shirt

b)  Scout Pants

c)  Scout Sox & Belt

d)  Neckerchief & Slide

2.    Camp boots (properly waterproofed)

3.          Raincoat or Poncho

4.    Wet Weather Footgear

5.    Sweater(s) and Jacket*

6.    Underclothing**

7.    Sox (heavy sox or sweat sox)

8.    Pajamas or Sweat suit

9.          Towel & Washcloth

10.   Soap & Container

11.   Comb

12.   Toothbrush & Toothpaste

13.   Pack

14.   Sleeping Bag or Blankets***

15.   Flashlight & Extra Batteries

16.   Mess Kit & Utensils

17.   Pocket Knife

18.   Pen or Pencil

19.   Compass

20.   Gloves or mittens

21.   Headgear

22.   Complete change of outer clothing****

23.   Scout Handbook

24.   Hand Ax (Patrol Leader ONLY. if desired)

 

* Weight of sweater(s) and jacket to depend on weather

**  Underclothing includes long underwear, if necessary

*** Both may be required, depending on weather

****Each boy should have a complete change of clothing for each FULL DAY at camp

 

The following are ABSOLUTELY PROHIBITED:

1.    Kitchen Matches of any kind

2.    Sheath Knives

3.          Candles

4.    Any type of bottled or canned solid or liquid fuels

10.   Soap and Container

11.   Comb

12.   Toothbrush and Toothpaste

13.   Pack or Duffle bag - NO Pack Racks

14.   Sleeping Bag

15.   Flashlight and Extra Batteries

16.   Mess Kit and Utensils

17.   Pocket Knife

18.   Pen or Pencil

19.   Compass

20.   Handkerchief

21.   Swimming Trunks and Towel

22.   Scout Handbook

23.   Hand Ax (Patrol Leader ONLY, if desired)

24.   Plastic Ground cloth

25.   Small Travel/Carry—on Bag

26.   Complete change of clothing. Each boy should have a change of clothing for each FULL DAY at camp.
