Training

Ahead of you will be many choices, the first of which you have already made.  That choice is to be an adult leader in this unit, to lend your knowledge, experience and guidance as a mentor to the youth that you have been entrusted to serve.  The next choice is to become a trained and certified leader.  It sounds complicated, but it’s not.  There is a highly experienced network of training staff already in place to guide you through your journey along the trail of training.  Several years ago the Boy Scouts of America re-vamped the training program to make it more specialized to each part of the scouting program.  Your part of the scouting program to concentrate on will be CUB SCOUTS as you have joined a Pack.
