Special report from the Texas Crime Investigating Committee

List of Tampa mob figures circa 1950

I came across this list after I finished my book. Interesting list of names- many before I have never seen associated with the Tampa family and some I never heard before. It's as noticeable for the inclusions as is it for the exclusions. If anyone has any information on some of the lesser -known names, please email me.

Some interesting notes- it says that Santo Trafficante Sr. was deposed as head of the Tampa Mafia in 1946 by Salvatore Scalgione. It also says that Antonio Diecidue inherited control of the Diecidue faction from his father (as opposed to Frank).

The chart starts with the usual suspects: Santo Trafficante Sr. and family, the Diecidues, Red Italiano, and Jimmy Lumia
