September 2001

Well its been 2 months since the last update,
so here are some new pictures!
September 9, 2001

I put the piece of driftwood with the plastic plants back into the tank,
and I am slowly removing the paper covering the sides..
All the fish are now eating a lot!
most nights I have almost no left over food to vaccum!
and they have stopped hiding completely..they no longer run when I approach the tank..in fact they are finally doing that "feed us feed us!" dance when they see me! :)

Putting the driftwood and plants back in the tank has resulted in a major
increase in the native hydra population, because they have all this wonderful
new surface area on which to live! but I am just going to live with them..

biggest fish is now a bit over 4 inches long..
