Chang moved to the neighborhood late last year from some country that has Asians in it. For awhile he just sat on his porch steps for hours doing absolutely nothing. He doesn't speak english very well but I just so happen to have an open slot on my team for another player. After several days of negoiations, Chang was signed to a one year contract that consisted of many incentive clauses in it if he did well. The addition of a free bowl of Uncle Ben's White rice by my mom every once in a while only helped with the negoiations. One more thing, if I knew that Chang slept 10-12 hours a day, I would have put that in the contract. I'm constantly over his house waking him up.
Sidenote, not to be picky, but I'd like Chang to smile more, it tend to hurt team chemistry.
Scouting Report: Chang is a team player. He'll either strike out or walk at the plate. He is very selective as he is yet to swing the bat yet. Thank god wiffleball is a universal language or he wouldn't be able to play. As for defensive skills, well he is lacking in that area. He tends not to catch any balls and it takes awhile for him to realize he has to chase the ball and pick it up. One thing that really hurts him is that he nevcer throws the ball. He tends to pick the ball up in the field, walk to me and hand me the ball.
