GEEK ALERT!!!! OK...some guys like vintage cars, only I would like vintage pro audio gear, relating to broadcasting. Here's me with my 3D!!! specifically a ITC 3D broadcast cartridge machine circa 1970's (the broadcast cartridge was the grandfather of the 8 track, and are only now being replaced by computer automation) that I salvaged from a radio station. These at one time were THE standard for cartridge machines in stations and cost upwards of $6000 new. You would use these to play virtually all your music, commericals, jingles, etc, whatever goes on air you would "cart" and then play in these things (each machine has 3 "players") It works quite well, and I submitted this pic to 8 track heaven.com, but I guess it didn't make the cut. Oh well, might as well put my goofy "used car saleman like" mug here.... .
