My adventure was about as wild as they come. I work in a small town about 2 hours away from Kansas city. I work Thursday-Sunday, 3:00 pm - 3:00 am.......

I took sunday night off....but, Sunday morning when i got off at 3:00 am....i drove straight to K.C. INTERNATIONAL airport....took a 6:00 am flight to MARYLAND..."the long way"....by way of DALLAS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.......arrived Sunday afternoon in Maryland......took a tour of D.C.....PASSED OUT IN THE HOTEL.......AFTER A DAY AND HALF OF NO SLEEP!!!!!!!

       Woke up Monday morning, went and stood in line for about 3 hours at the HYATTSVILLE FIRE HOUSE......HAD AN AWSOME TIME!
          The guys were great! Randy was very freindly, and didn't seem to hurry anyone thru. Ron Pinkard was probably the most freindly of anyone...what a nice man, Ron was all over the crowds talking to people.
         Marco and Tim were also great. Tim did not feel very good though, so he was kinda soft spoken .
         Mike Stoker was AWSOME!!!! I'm a Captain at a Volunteer department, and i wore my dress shirt to the event......Mr. (EX-LA FIREFIGHTER) STOKER, Asked me all about my department......and we talked for awhile about it!
                 WOW.........WAY COOLLLLLLL !!!!!!

I stayed the whole day at the event. Around 5:00 pm, i took the rental car (and me) to the AIRPORT....got on a 8:00pm flight back to K.C. INTERNATIONAL monday night!!!!
