5th Febuary 2003 - NWA - TNA Show
Well what a month January had been for Raven, getting his comeback to
the WWE is a match that he lost, sporting an image that got him no where near over to the RAW fans in his match with Jeff Hardy.
Raven was released along with Justin yet two days later conquered NWA
with style joining up with Russo and Sports Entertainment Xtreme.
This show saw the introduction of the Road Dogg, formerly in the WWF/E
as part of the successful Tag Team, the New Age Outlaws. Now known simply as B.G. James. After James match with Tenacious Z, Raven and Dogg beat him down before Raven got on the mic as Dogg made his exit.
Hey Security, remove that debris from my sight! A.J. Styles, you have property that belongs to me. Possession is 9/10ths of the law and you
possess the NWA World Heavyweight Title. You need to bring that to me
right now! I mean, you do realize that you are a mere gardener in the yard
of life, while I - I walk a different road. A road of horror, a narrow road with no turns that only the bravest of men would dare travel. Pain, pain is a
bridge on that road carrying the traveler over dark waters of deceit and scorn. Debt, a debt incurred in this road is a lifelong bond; a hunger to be satiated
is a debt of blood and it requires sacrifice. Your sacrifice, A.J. Styles! So,
A.J. Styles, unless you are a pussy of the greatest magnitude, you will
attempt to come down here and keep me from regaining my possession
and granting you an eternity of youthful oblivion. A.J. Styles, you claim
to have beaten everyone, but you haven't beaten anyone until you've taken
a walk through Raven's Clockwork Orange House of Fun, you arrogant
little pussy! Quote the Raven, nevermore!"
Pussy Eh? You wouldn't catch that quote on WWE Television, also Raven
has mentioned this Clockwork Orange House of Fun before is the WWE
as I can remember this on the Ravens Quotes page. Not sure what its all
about in its entirity but I guess we might get to see in future.
At this AJ Styles make his way down to the ring being met with a Knee Lift onslaught by Raven. Both men have their times in the brawl. Raven takes the
belt back executing the Crucifix pose, AJ trys to take the belt back but
in another WWE re-run, Raven snapps two of AJ's fingers just like
previously done on HeAT. Raven leaves the Asylum with the NWA Heavyweight Belt.
7th, 8th Febuary 2003 - World Wrestling Alliance Show
Raven faced a man no wait, kid, who he had previously faced before, yeah
that kid of HeAT Aaron Stevens. Wonder what his involvment is, or ever
was.Anyhow, this was not meant to be as viewers were meant to be treated
to what would have been a real deal match in Raven V Sabu. I'd just like
to add Sabu was wicked in his time haven't had the chance to see him since
the endof the great ECW but this match would have been good.
Aaron Stevens wanted revenge from HeAT, I'll just say I think its cool how other promotions are using old storylines from different Federations and are
not just forgeting about them like the WWE do with ECW and WCW storylines. I am not sure if they are allowed to or not but surely some
old flames could have been burnt, Dawn and Lance, Jazz and Dawn, not
being a Dawn Marie obbsessive there but shes been around the block a fair
few times. This match was quick, damn quick, both men got their own offensives in but did you think Stevens had a chance realistically, no,
Raven won with the Evenflow end of Story, this occured on both shows.
12h Febuary 2003 - NWA - TNA Show
The show began showing what went of after the show went off the Air last week, with Jarrett being strapped in the ropes being beaten but eventually
gaining back his belt. It was annouced the JJ Dillon was appointed as
NWA - TNA's top dog replacing Tenay. Dillon had a surprise for everyone
in someone who he felt could stop Raven, this man was The Sandman.
When hearing this I was pleased to say the least, who'll ever forget some
ofthe pairs matches in ECW, the Barbed Wire Heavyweight Title Match to
name just one.
Raven was waiting for an interview when asked about why Sandman is here,
Sandman appeared behind Raven taking a swing with that ever so familair
Singarpore Cane. Raven ducked and ran to the Sports Entertainment Xtreme
locker room, as Sandman locked the door from the outside.
Raven finally gets his interview talking about pat ECW Storylines, how its
not his fault that Sandman's wife and son, Tyler, joined him instead of the druken father that Sandman is. AJ Styles shows up and the two men beat on each other after last weeks finger snapping. Its then confirmed that the main
event of the night will be an Anywhere Falls Match, Raven V .....The
Sandman.
Typical Sandman makes hi way to the ring drowning beers smashing them
on his forehead ECW Style. Raven hits some of his trademark moves
hitting a Russian Leg Sweep on to the Guard Rail amongst Knee Lift and
Drop Toe Holds. Trash cans are introduced as well as chairs. Both men end
up getting bloody fairly quickly. They head for the back where a table lies.
Sandman looks to finish Raven off with this Table but here comes Low-Ki
who pushes Sandman off the raised area plummetting Sandman 10 foot
through the table. Raven then gathered himself for the pinfall 1, 2, 3.
After the match Steve Corino makes his way dwn to the ring in the aid of Sandman, a brawl arisies, down comes AJ and then Sports Entertainment Xtreme. The show ends with Jarret getting Smashed thanks to AJ Styles.
15th Febuardy 2003 - 3PW Show
Raven was set to take on the Blue Meanie, someone who he had shared
experiances with whilst in ECW and particularly with Stevie Richards.
Raven said he didn't want to fight Meanie because of the respect and love he had for him. He therefore called out Pitbull 1 also from ECW currently in the
3PW, now known as Gary Wolfe. Pitbull 1 offers Raven a match in a 3 Way
for his belt later on, and Raven gladly accpets. Raven then attacks Meanie
from behind with the Microphone and then executed the EvenFlow for
the pinfall. So in a way it was a match, which Meanie thourght he never had
to fight. However the point was given by Raven to Wolfe for later on in the night.
The 3 Way was an Elimination pitting Raven and Pitbull 1, joined by Xavier, and no not the Portugese Football player. Xavier is the first to be eliminated
hit smoothly with an Evenflow. Pitbull 1 and Raven battle it out. Raven goes for his third EvenFlow of the night, but Wolfe reverses into a DVD, Death
Vallery Driver, something of which former nemesis Tommy Dreamer has
used (Spicolli Driver), not to mention Perry Saturn. Basically Wolfe wins with
that and takes his title backstage leaving Raven to recover.
19th Febuary 2003 - NWA-TNA - Show
Raven is set to partner Low-Ki against the former ECW World Champions,
in The Sandman and Steve Corino. Raven is sporting the words 'Sandman Must Die' across his chest. In an interview with Goldylocks stating his earlier life was full of love for not but his sister, but he met someone to change that
Lori, and her son Dylan. All ECW storylines people, for those who didn't gather. Raven claims this was the happiest time of his life but Sandman
took his Wife and Kid back, as Raven vowed to seek retribution.
Walk with me, Sandman, for I am Raven. Walk with me, Sandman, through paths of hatred. Walk with me, through paths of cruelty. Walk with me through Raven's clockwork orange house of fun. Quoth the Raven, Nevermore.
As the match commences everything goes out of control, Sandman recieved
a huge Piledriver through a Table. Action explodes with trash cans, and kicks.
Sandman returned with the familair Singarpore Cane. Raven executes a Drop Toe Hold on Corino. Raven recieved a Super Kick from Corino, but a smart Heel Kick from Low-Ki got Raven the upper hand. Low-ki even attempted a
Rey Mysterio style 619 but The Sandman prevented any such attempt.
Raven uses this to steal the Sandmans cane hitting his nemesis with it before
executing the EvenFlow for the three count.
22nd Febuary 2003 - IWC Show
Originally designed to continue the Sandman/Raven fued into another
promotion. Sandman is somewhat banned from entering Pennsylvania and it was Corino that faced Raven at this showing. Both men began the match well
and it seemed as if all was stevens. Corino began to gain the upper hand utilizes every trick in the book, bit like Triple H did against Steiner the first time.
Anyhow in typical Regal style, Corino produced a weapon from his tights
which all looked like pointing to a Corino win. However the tide turned as Raven hit the EvenFlow in lightning fashion for the pinfall.
26th Febuary 2003 - NWA-TNA Show
Start off with Russo speaking of the need for change and the possability of a new member to Sports Entertainment Extreme. Enter AJ Styles although
not believing in the Sports Entertainment Extreme ideology AJ wants in saying he will sign with Sports Entertainment Extreme right there right then.
Ravens non to pleased as you may have guessed he makes his way from out the crowd to address Russo and AJ starting off with the traditional 'What About Me, What About Raven' Raven goes on to say Russo brought Raven from the WWE to be the Champion and he would not be undermined by this
'X-Division Midget Wannabee'. Russo mentions that ever since he brought Raven here the Sandman followed so perhaps it was a bad idea. Man who's he kidding the pair of them have done wonders for NWA, but we all know this is all part of the plot, yeah?
AJ and Raven begin to fall out over toughness which soon leads to Russo deeming AJ to face Sandman, whilst Raven will face an X-Division Wrestler. Both in attempts to prove their worth. That man is to be.... Julio Dinero. No not Robert... Julio. Anyhow the match soon gets underway later on in the show. Decent match going side to side. Dinero was going strong, but accidently hit the refferee with a Big Splash. Dinero hit a sweet Drop Kick on Raven but no count could be made. This spurred AJ Styles to enter the equation knocking Dinero from the Top Turnbuckle who then tasted the mat via the EvenFlow for the Pin.
So AJ helps Raven, so much for the aggrovation. I guess AJ is sending the message that Raven needs his help, we'll see, we'll see.
Later on in the show AJ Styles sets off to face The Sandman in his test of strength. This match runs along similar lines to Raven's match and this is shown with Ravens interferance shattering The Sandman's back with a Steel Chair. I say shattering I mean whacking not literally shattering his back.
Anyhow AJ capitalises and reverses the move Sandman was hoping to make into a big Styles Clash. Raven rolls out of the ring sending the same message to AJ as AJ had done for him moments before. Both men prove themselves to Russo but I can see this fued not been left here. Expect further repricautions.
Later on in the show Raven was shown aloof the arena commenting on his unique matchup with The Sandman next week...
"Sandman, I am the way to the city of woe. I am the way to the forsaken people. I am the way to eternal sorrow. Walk with me, Sandman, for I am Raven. Walk with me Sandman through teh Clockwork Orange House of Fun match."
Raven comments on the match claiming the loser will be dumped from above through a pair of tables yet that is all to be revealed until next week.
28th Febuary 2003 - XPW Show
Raven gets set to face Vic Grimes in this XPW duel. I will always remember Grimes against New Jack when the pair where involved with a big fall from
a scaffolding plot. Anyhow Grimes was accompnied by his Valet who just happened to be Daffney from WCW now known as Lucy. The match itself was deemed as a pretty bland match that seemed rushed and poorly executed. Raven was extremely over, yet for some reason did not get the win. He had
it won with the EvenFlow but with the referee knocked down Lucy was
able tomake her impact in the match swaying the tide to Grimey with his
own DDT.

Justin Credible was also involved in this showing facing off against the Franchise Shane Douglas in a match for the XPW Title. Bit dour as I have heard, Douglas got the roll up when Lizzy Borden got cracked over the head with a Singarpore Cane. The pair messes up a Table Segment in this match too.
