This painting was done by request of a neighbor of mine. It is a painting of her father at his ranch in Wyoming. The original photograph she gave me to paint from showed only the barn and none of the surrounding area and since I've never been there, I had to use my imagination a little. I tried to use dark and light and hot and cold contrasts in both the sky and the foreground to help make the painting funner.
