This painting wasn't really sold, but given as a gift to my grandparents. They ran a dairy farm while I was growing up, so I wanted to do something that had farm things. I found this picture in a book about Denmark and liked the hay and the perspective. If I were to do it over, I'd take some of the detail and sharpness out of the houses in the background. Also the colors in the houses are too bright which gives them a cartoon look. I chose red for the background on this web page because I thought it compliments the red roofs of some of the houses.
