I did this painting shortly after high school. I wanted to practice impressionism and really liked the Van Gogh style with the overbearing bold leaves. This turned out to be a failure in my opinion and is one of my least favorites. It was an experiment more than anything. It hangs in one of my kids' bedrooms. If anyone wants it, I'd probably give it away. One good thing I can say about this painting is that it is maybe one of the first paintings completely from my imagination.
