Business Purpose
My purpose is to sell progressive recordings and teaching materials for parental teaching of children from birth to adult. These recordings and books will help spawn a more musical culture.   The whole method has to be marketed to both non-professional and professional people, in a coordinated time-table over about six years.  The method can only effectively demonstrate it's full capacity if it is marketed first to parents with the recordings for infants and toddlers.  These same parents will later create the demand for teachers to use the method and materials as their children mature.

The method will not be franchised.  It will be taught at by church musicians, piano teachers, home schoolers, and by the parents themselves, most importantly.  I want it to be widely available at whatever level of financial commitment parents and teachers are willing and able to make with it, unlike franchised methods that demand teacher licensing and can only be afforded by 'yuppie' upper middle class parents willing to make a weekly commitment and pay a large sum up front.  The selling of recordings to parents is the main thrust of how the method will work through the small structure of the family, rather than through the large structures of schools.  It will start as "Musical Intelligence Recordings" and fan out to classes later.  It will woo the parents into participating, providing an easy format for the non-music-reader parent to learn enough to become the child's first music teacher, pointing under the notes for the child, and singing with the recordings. Parents who are enthusiastic about the program will be recruited as "consultants" who organize "music parties" for other parents and their children. Mothers groups will predominate, though the entire community will be invited to Sight-singing workshops where 'Da-di duets" for mother and father to sing in the home will be sold.

Most of the books I can publish myself with my own zerox machine.  At this point I need "angel" people to help finance three of the recordings, $9000, two illustrated music storybooks, $6000, and market all the materials.
