I set this page up so people could identify what type of Sears outboard they have. Sears contracted several companies to make their outboards over the years. Scott-McCulloch made them in the later part of the 60s and then they switched to Eska-Tecumseh from the early 70s up through the 80s. The following photos are of the Eska-Tecumseh varieties. Eska made motors from 2HP to 15HP. The Sears (Eska) model numbers normally begin with 217. If your motor looks like any of these, you can get parts at Certified Parts Corp on my Links Page. |
