Oct 1937 John W. Campbell, Jr. took over as editor from F. Orlin Tremaine. The precise issue is in contention; Campbell started as an assistant editor in Sept 1937, but Tremaine didn't leave Street & Smith until March 1938 (when the Tremaine inventory of stories was exhausted).
Oct 1933 Street & Smith took over as publisher. F. Orlin Tremaine took over as editor from Harry Bates. Title went back to Astounding Stories.
