The YF-21 Advanced Variable Fighter is the Fleet's supierority fighter.  She the fastest thing in space as far as figthers are concerned and command both space and the planets below.  She is the one fighter in the UPA's aresenal that is fully transformable, becoming a 15 meter tall humanoid like machine, fully articulate and able to take on ground forces and hold cities.  Her advanced BDI and BCS systems allow the pilot and fighter to become one...the pilot's mind fully merged with the fighter, allowing for speed of thought reaction and maneuvers the likes of which this universe has never seen.  She is also the only fighter with the ability of opening it's own jump vortex.
