The SA-26A Thunderbolt is the mainstay fighter of the Hammer Fleet.  Easy to build, easy to pilot and capable of handling herself in many different enviroments, the Thunderbolt has proven it's value time and time again as a heavy fighter and a bomber.  She has the maneverability to compete with most fighters, and the firepower to rip them apart.  She has no FTL capabilities of her own, requiring a carrier to open a Jump Vortex for her, but she can survive in Hyperspace, her many maneuvering thrusters making her able to quickly respond to the gravimetric eddies and extreme currents of the hellish environment.
