The Hammer of Peace was refitted and designed off the largest destroyer in the Hammer Fleet's arsenal, the Warlock.  She was built to serve as an armed diplomatic cruiser for the Chancellor of the United Psionic Alliance, D Mentio.  Her weapons have dropped down, and her interior areas heavily rebuilt.  Full size crew quarters, Ambassador suites, Holodecks, full lounges, full sized conference rooms and every other possible creature comfort and amenity that would satisfy even the most pompous diplomat.  Her shuttle bays have been expanded and external docking ports added to allow for more shuttles and diplomatic yachts to dock safely.  She's basically a moderatly armed, heavily armored 1.9 kilometer long pleasure yacht...

But don't let that fool you.  She still have the weapons complement comparible to a Soveriegn class starship and her armor and shields remain the same.  Despite all her creature comforts, she is fully capable of defending herself.  She still carries 24 YF-21 AVF's as "diplomatic escort" with very capable pilots.  The Hammer of Peace is a pleasure cruiser, designed to explore and maintain peaceful relations and host extravegant diplomatic functions with almost any form of life...even if she has to make war to acheive that very peace she is designed for...
