Our lives in a sense have been dismembered
Think of the travelers and the airline crews
They had no idea their lives they would lose
Terrorist took over the plane
And what they did next was totally insane
They took four of our planes out of the sky
Making sure innocent people would die
The hijackers managed to crash into three buildings in all
But on the forth plane the victims stood tall
They knew their fate was sealed
So they overpowered the hijackers and crashed the plane down in an empty field
The hero's on Flight 93 fought back
Saving the White House from attack
As the World Trade Center and Pentagon were crahed into
Our poor innocent people had no clue
The building collapsed into a pile of rubble
By now, we knew we were in trouble
The world was in distress
Knowing there are thousands of people buried in this mess
As they search in desperation
The United States has started a full investigation
The President states that, "those responsible will pay"
We will find them in some way
War may be the answer, which is scary and insane
But we cannot let our people die in vain
The rescuers continue to search and they need our praise
As they look for survivors for the next couple of days
Unfortunately they have had no luck
Finding survivors since the building was struck
We know there are thousands of fatalities
But we don't want to give up hope and face reality.
We will never understand why
So many innocent people had to die
What these terrorist cowards did was absolutely rotten
But our loved ones will never be forgotten
The day of the World Trade Center and Pentagon fall
A lot of people answered the Lord's Call
They are angels now watching us from above
Watching us all Unite in Love
To the family members and friends of those that have died
Our thoughts and prayers are with you worldwide.
