Scott Foster, Jazz Guitarist
"There's nothing cooler than the electric guitar!" That statement has been the driving force for most of Scott Foster's life. Bitten by the guitar bug early, Scott was playing a broomstick in front of the mirror, long before he got his first guitar at age nine. In a career that has spanned three decades, Scott has performed professionally both solo and with groups, in a variety of musical styles including jazz, blues, rock, and country.

Scott's current passion is solo Jazz/Blues guitar. His unique style of simultaneously playing bass lines, chords, and melody creates the illusion of a small jazz combo. His repertoire includes jazz and blues standards, as well as popular classics with a smooth jazz feel. The result is a full sounding, easy to listen to blend of jazz and blues.

"I've been excited about the guitar for as long as I can remember, and playing solo really allows me to share that excitement with the audience." Scott said, "I've found there is something special about sharing live jazz with an audience, it's very rewarding." Lately, you can find Scott playing his 1989 Gibson Chet Atkins Country Gentleman guitar, recording independently, and performing regularly throughout the Southeast.
