Javier is back and is dying to know who Felicity went with, as are we. But, she's an RA and has a meeting with co-RA Meghan, who announces her sexual history to the advisees. Julie bumps into Sean and advises him on his new business idea. Her roommates are annoying twin cheerleaders. Felicity is sitting on a bench in a hallway when Ben (clean shaven, short haired) appears at one end and Noel (new hair cut - so cute!) at the other. They all look at each other. Then (and my heart fell!), Noel walks past her, ignoring her and Ben comes over and kisses her, giving us our long awaited answer. Felicity tells us her summer story and how she called Ben in Berlin and some girl answered. Julie can't take the twins and moves in with Sean and Ben. Elena and Noel are moving in together, and Noel says quite cruelly that he never wants to see Felicity again (that's not our Noel! But then again, he was hurt) and stated he enjoyed sleeping with Berlin girl. Felicity drops by at Ben's and sees Julie moving it. When she tells Ben he says he doesn't care. Felicity and Ben go out on a date (Ben wants to tell her something) and bump into Julie, Elena and Noel. Sparks fly, and Felicity is stubborn. Ben tells Felicity he's happy with her. But would he still be so happy if Felicity loved him? (Sean). Ben listens to Felicity's tape and hears that she loves him - maybe.
Felicity must advise one of her advisee on how to snag back her boyfriend. But Gretchen's got a plan - the List from Girl World Magazine . Felicity advises against it though. Ben does the guy thing on Felicity, leaving her upset with a lot of questions. Seems he can't take her�.intensity?? Felicity decides to do Girl World list herself, getting Burky 'I'm annoying' to take her to Julie and Sean's (they're a great team!) party. She's dresses to kill. Meanwhile, Noel wants a relationship and asks out a waitress but after she finds out that he's practically a virgin, she says no. Seans wants a relationship too. With a certain guitarist who lives with him. At the party, Noel tries to chat up a girl (Brigid with a D). She gives him her number, after a while. Ben sees Felicity all hotted up and can't resist. He asks to speak with her alone and they go up to the roof. Noel sees them go, with a sigh. Felicity and Ben work things out and they kiss. But Felicity just can't change herself to suit Ben, especially after she finds that Gretchen's plan backfired. So she breaks up with him, in a very sad scene. (HE DESERVES IT! SHE SHOULD HAVE GONE WITH NOEL). Then she goes to get her hair chopped off�.what will it look like?
We see Felicity's new hairdo, which is very short and cool. Meghan doesn't like it, but Burkey says she's hot. Her advisee Ruby, has a problem with her classes, which Felicity helps solve (something about Czarist Russia??). Which gets her thinking about her own classes and suddenly being an art major is sounding very appealing. She drops pre-med. Richard gives Noel advice about Brigid (whose number turned out to be the pizza place). Noel disses Felicity's new 'do (it'll grow back, he says). Felicity and Noel turn out to be in the same art class. And who sits between them but Pizza Girl. Felicity partners with Brigid and Noel wishes one partnered with the person on the right. Ruby needs help buying a computer and Meghan points her in the right direction (Noel), to Felicity's dismay. Julie finds a place. Ben and Sean are interviewing new roommates, but Sean is being very picky (hmmm). Perhaps he can't get a certain ex-Power Ranger out of his mind? Ruby shows up at Noels. But Noel, under Richard's influence, is suspicious of all girls related to Felicity and brushes her off. Julie and Ben chat about how bubble gum is better than tape (for sticking up posters) and breakups are hard. Being in the same class is hard for Noel and Felicity so Feli tries to switch classes, which doesn't work . Noel's not happy about this because everytime he sees Felicity, it reminds him how she chose Ben over him. The Professor doesn't like Felicity's art, and neither do most of the class, except Noel, who defends her. They talk civilly, almost like they were friends. Julie's staying with the guys, which makes Sean v. happy. Seems they've got their breakfast routine down pat. Later, Felicity sees Noel in her dorm and asks him to hang out. But he's already got a date - with Ruby.
Julie sings a song she wrote entitled Felicity about how Felicity betrayed her at the bar. Felicity hears about this asks Elena and Noel for advice. Noel says that if he and Felicity can make up it'll be a snap for Julie and Felicity. Felicity then says that she and Julie were never as close and she and Noel (there's still hope!!). Noel and Felicity decide to meet at the museum with Ruby, whom Felicity lurrrrvves (bit of sarcasm there). On her way there, Felicity gets stuck in the subway with Julie and a bunch of weirdos who during their five+ hours on the subway analyze Felicity's and Julie's relationship and discuss, amoung other things, if the mole people are real (apparently they are, and Meghan's one of them). Meanwhile, Ben is eyeing a busy older women (Maggie) who has a thing about poppyseed muffins. She invites him to her semi-formal party. Noel and Ruby have a wonderful time at the museum (Ruby's SO glad Felicity got stuck in a train and couldn't make it). Ruby and Noel kiss on top of a 3D model.
Elena and Noel get addicted to their playstation and play for four days non-stop, Ben sleeps with Maggie, who says afterwards, in a nut shell,, 'Don't call me I'll call you' and Felicity's art teacher sets Felicity up on a date with her son, David, who acts atrociously. He later apologizes (he's been going through a tough time because his fiancee dumped him) repeatedly and they go out again, and, have a great time (of course). Also, Felicity is patching up with everyone. Has girltalk with Julie, chats with Ben and has coffee with Noel (who's an A-list guy, by the way. I knew it all along!)
Meghan has mono. Felicity is worrying about why David hasn't kissed her yet. A man approaches Ruby in the park and asks her to audition for a movie (he has a business card, so he's totally legit). Felicity's afraid of catching mono from Meghan so David offers to let her crash at his place (Noel's not very happy about that), only to withdraw it since his place is getting fumigated (apparantly). Ruby asks Felicity for advice on birth control. Felicity asks Noel to tell Ruby about their past relationship. Maggie and Ben are getting hot on the kitchen table, but Maggie insists that it is the last time. Felicity has a date with David and is getting ready at Elena's. Ruby and Noel come in and David and Ruby decide to double date. At the restaurant, David and Ruby notice Felicity and Noel talking as if they're oblivious to everone around. Later, in the restaurant while kissing Ruby, Noel says Felicity's name. She blows up at him and is humilated. She storms out, and David (with his confused look) does too. Noel says that as much as he cares about Felicity, he wants it to work out with Ruby. Felicity: ditto with David. Ben finds out that Maggie is married. Ruby forgives Noel (but he can't ever make that mistake again) and they do 'it'. Ruby tells Noel that she gets the part in the movie where she snogs Tom Cruise and has to go away for 3 weeks (can she just leave school like that?). Felicity has mono and goes to David's apartment with a mask on her face to explain herself to him. He forgives her and they kiss.
