There was a question from a fan about Scott Foley:
Question: Please tell me about Scott Foley, who plays Noel Crane, the handsome resident advisor opposite Keri Russell on the WB's hit series Felicity. What else has he done? Is he married? Any other projects coming up?
Answer: "I'm so lucky to be where I am that I just want to focus on this series right now," says Foley, 26, who struggled for six years before landing an agent and then a recurring role on Dawson's Creek last season. Winning the part on Felicity took half a dozen auditions plus private studies with acting teacher Judith Weston. "I was orriginally cast as Ben, the 'bad boy,' but I asked to switch when the producers couldn't find the right actor for Noel," says Foley, who got his start doing musicals in his hometown of St. Louis. He won't give us a hint about the romantic future between Noel and Felicity. As for his own romantic life, Foley tells us his last relationship ended about six months ago, "but we're still good friends."
Felicity's sensitive young Scott Foley tells YM (Young and Modern) magazine it was "love at first sight" when he hooked up with Jennifer Garner on the set of the WB college drama. Awwww. Foley, who plays R.A. Noel Crane, says that when the script called for a kiss, "We were so nervous. We both wanted to kiss each other so bad. Our first kiss was in-character as Noel and Hanna." However, that first kiss wasn't one for the books. "Stage kisses are different, much less passionate than regular kisses, so it wasn't great," says the 27-year-old actor. However, off-screen the two have apparently made adequate compensation. The couple no longer has to worry about those lame stage kisses: Garner is set to co-star in the Jennifer Love Hewitt series Time of Your Life, premiering this fall, while Foley's back for another season of Felicity.
