Welcome to South Province

This site is dedicated to my South Province Campaign, and the players who enjoy it.

The content of this site is a compilation of the gaming material I have written specifically for my South Province campaign, from 1997 to 2005. Some of this material has been published/released elsewhere online and some is shown here for the first time. Whenever possible, other contributors are cited.

South Province is a territory of the Great Kingdom, the long-dominant empire of the eastern Flanaess, on the continent of Oerik, on the planet Oerth. If these terms are unfamiliar, read here, here, or here to learn more (only the last link is not to my work).

This is but one of many settings designed for play with the roleplaying game Dungeons & Dragons. This setting, called the World of Greyhawk, has the double distinction of being the second fantasy roleplaying campaign ever of this kind and the first one designed by the main creator of D&D, Gary Gygax. At this point, you have two options for further reading. You can read the fiction section of this site (dedicated to archiving the South Province campaign itself) or the meta-fiction section of this site (dedicated to material I've written for my use as the campaign's Dungeon Master or for general reading).

For now, I will continue to keep a few maps accessible from this main page that we need for the South Province campaign. In the future, they will be accessible through the nonfiction page.
