Probably ubiquitious then, but today, a scant memory of old cardboard boxes with painted mass produced glass ornaments for Christmas trees; made in New Jersey for New York City's Max Eckhardt's company in the flat-iron or Chelsea district. Many still available as collectors items in complete box sets today ..Check E-Bay or Yahoo auction.
