- Francis May, Baden Germany born came to Boston in the 1830's worked as a baker and married Adelia "Bridget" Fitzmorris -- born in Ireland. Their daughter Caroline May (b. 1851 Brookline, Ma) married immigrated blacksmith Daniel F. McCormack in 1873. Daniel McCormack's family, already in North America since 1755 approx emigrated from Prince Edward Island (St John Isle) in 1867 to Boston aboard the Alhambra. Daniel & Caroline May are my maternal great-grandparents.
