| Well, we REALLY lucked out here. Believe us, rates for lodging in State College changes almost hourly. A room in town can be $60 one night, and $150 the next. It all depends upon what is going on in town. So, what's going on in town over Thanksgiving weekend? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Therefore, the rate we were given for our first-choice hotel (Days Inn, downtown State College) was $55/night! AND, that's for 1-4 people! The rate doesn't change. Bear in mind, this isn't a dive, either. It's received the Days Inn's highest quality rating. And, it's in the absolute heart of State College, within EASY walking distance of most points of interest. We've been in the rooms when friends have come into town, and they're as good as almost any we've seen. Hopefully, you'll find them to be way more than adequate. All that you have to do, is call them up, and say you want a room in the Malone/Sheader wedding block. They have 50 rooms set aside, so you shouldn't have any problem getting one. We were going to put all the directions to the hotel, the phone number, and whatever else here on the website, but it's much easier for us to have you click on this link for all of this information and more. If, by some chance, you can't stand the Days Inn chain, or, maybe you get free rooms with another chain, click on this link for other lodging options. There are dozens of hotels/motels here in town, so finding something else won't be a problem. |
