For those of you who've never been, Rogues has excellent food and exsquisite beer brewed right there in the bar. We've been getting a really good set of regulars and semi-regulars playing their tunes. It's likely the most chill open mic in the city. Hope you can make it down sometime...
I hope all is well in your cyber-world and real one as well.
Things have been a little bit crazy over here. Moved to Dartmouth, and I've been working a lot. Mainly tech stuff, mixing and recording for other people. I've also been heavily involved in organizing and running the North End Coffee House. It's a not-for-profit musical evening held periodically in (as the name impies) Halifax's north end.
I've also been mixing Bend the River and The Smokin' Contraband once in a while.
I've been doing a few show here and there with Archie Gillis as well. There are a couple live recordings of that at my Myspace site.
Small flights of birds have been telling me that Evan Kolvoord will be back in the HRM in July. We're planning a house concert together. More details as they develop...
And as usual, a proper demo is still in the works. Someday I'll get a round tuit
