although i am very young, here are some of my thoughts on
First, fair warning to anyone brave enough to read on:
I am a Christian in the Catholic tradition. This is the vantage point upon which I view the world. I admit, there may be some biases then arising from this. ALSO, I am a young man and my ideas on this issue have evolved as I have gained eperience in life. It is something else that we learn more about why we're here as we come closer to the end of our days to do something about it...
God, infinitely perfect and blessed in Himself, in a plan of sheer goodness freely created man to make him share His own blessed life. For this reason, at every time and in every place, God draws close to man.
oh, well.... here is why we were created...
I like the Catechism's answer on this one:
