For years, almost since The Process Church of The Final Judgement opened its doors, it has been surrounded by controversy. This is partly due to the names of their Gods, The Process was branded as an Evil, Satanic and then later a murderous Cult. Absolutely nothing could be further from the truth The Gods of The Process are JEHOVAH, LUCIFER, SATAN and CHRIST. And Processeans believe in The Unity between CHRIST and SATAN, their principal tenet state that:

come together for the End. Processeans believe that All the Gods exist in
CHRIST to Judge, SATAN to each and every one of us. But that one or two
execute the Judgement. will exert a more dominant influence over us, these influences can be either negative or positive resulting in pressures and uncertainties that cause conflicts within ourselves, and influence daily life. Processeans while not worshipping The Gods prr se, feel that they Validate or Service the Gods through daily life; and that by resolving the inner conflicts, a balance can be achieved. And that by the resolution of these conflicts, the emnity between the Gods will ultimately be destroyed. Resulting in the Unity between CHRIST and SATAN and the coming together of all the Gods.
While the full beliefs are more developed and slightly more complicated, this is The Process beliefs in the most basic and fundamental terms. And hopefully it explains how The Process is not a SATANIC cult.
These beliefs are nothing really new, The Yazeti who were an ancient Kurdish peoples held similar beliefs in circa 680 AD (Wikipedia).
Processeans also believe in "THE UNIVERSAL LAW", which states;
"As We Give, So Shall We Receive."
Belief in this Law is so strong that Processeans believe that, causing harm is in effect only harming themselves.
The Universal Law is clear and uncompromising. Because we receive back every last thing that we put out, it has to be total anti-survival lunacy to cause any negative effect or harm to anyone or anything - or in turn pass up a chance to have a positive effect or do good for someone.
The Process has never relly been a group to back away from controversy, when they first opened they wore Black uniforms with Red insignia,( a Mendes Goat, long considered Evil and Satanic), The Process wore black in mourning for the pain and suffering of mankind and Red for the blood he has spilled. But that was misinterpretted, so they bowed to pressure and changed to Grey uniforms with a Black cape. Ultimately the uniform was changed to a Dark Blue and the insignia was changed from The Mendes Goat to the Unity Cross. But the damage had been done. The Process had been falsely named in connection to Charles Manson by Maury Terry; and Ed Saunders was sued by The Process and had to change his book to remove any reference to The Church, when he wrote about The Son of Sam murders and also falsely named The Process. But The Process as a body was no longer around to defend itself. And this is how The Process got branded as Evil. So the libel continues, recently documents have come to light that exhonerates The Process. In a recent Web Page opened by M. In the 1970's, people were looking for something to blame the troubles of the youth on, there was a Witch Hunt going on, and any and all Organizations that appealed to the youth were a natural target. The Process with 4 Gods, that encouraged people to look within themselves and find the inner strength and power, became one of the biggest. Throughout the years the tales of The Process have become more of an Urban Legend than truth, and all the lies and myths have taken on lives of their own. Today there is a movement afoot that would see the resurgence of The Process Church of the Final Judgement, one can only hope that when it rises from the ashes like the fabled Pheonix; that it is as strong as possible, and that they are able to avoid all the pitfalls and problems that arose the first time around.
It promises to be an interesting time, as the movement promises to be true to the Teachings and Ideals of Founder and Teacher Robert DeGrimston. The Process did almost as much for the poor and downtrodden, the troubled and tired, the weak and the sick as The Salvation Army (in cities where the Process was). And when it reopens, promises to continue in the path that was started decades ago.
