Global Issues Webquest
Introduction:
In the Global Issues Webquest you will investigate world issues such as: Poverty, human rights, education, environmental damage, and racism. Since 1996, students have researched topics, established e-mail contacts in other countries, shared their thoughts and opinions by publishing on the web, and joined the community of problem-solvers worldwide.
The Task:
The Scottish Office has become interested in raising awareness about these issues in Scottish schools and needs your help. Your task is to produce a 6 page report [excluding cover, introduction and conclusions] for the Scottish Office giving details of useful websites dealing with global issues.
Your report must have a solid structure detailing which websites you have visited, how useful you found them and why you found them useful. Your report should be in printed form but an online version will be seen as useful to the Webquest judges. To help you get started in your webquest several links have been provided in the resources.
