Cosplay notes: Seymour is by far the most difficult costume I've made. I couldn't really find a pattern that I could alter to make the robs so I made my own. I made the mistake of making the bottom part of the robe a seprate piece because it was pulled apart in the dealers room at AN. the second mistake I made was the material I used for the hair. In order to make the "attena" parts, I decided to use a wire frame/cardboad combo that made it a little too heavy to wear more then 4 hours. Despite the problems I thought it turned out ok and I got tons of postive feedback at AN ^ ^. At least I know never to design another costume like that again |
