There are two main steps to getting rid of unwanted visitors: cleaning and sealing. Start at the center of your home, and begin grounding yourself. When you're in the middle of the process, and energy is flowing in and out of you, begin to expand your energy until you feel yourself permeating the room. Continue to expand until you fill the home and then, holding this energy level, starting from the front of the home, go through the house and open every window. Open doors, too, if you have screens, but don't let bugs in, because you won't feel like hurting anything after you've worked with the Earth energies. When you've reached the back of the home, you should be feeling the breezes dancing about. Let your energy follow the currents of air; do not try to control how they move. Push BEHIND the air, sweeping with your mind as you go, visualizing the visitors being moved (or gently but firmly pushed) to the front of the room, stopping to clean each room as you go, gathering and moving the visitors without fear, because you are not harming them in any way. Many people like to use a burning bunch of sage as they go, sweeping the air with the smoke. I find this an unnecessary but very pleasant and soothing detail, so it's up to you. Your energy should stil be permeating the home, so you will know if you've missed anyone. If you're particularly attached to any of the remaining visitors, ask them to leave as you make them do it anyway, that way they'll be ready to return when you need them, and won't feel offended by what you are doing. Chances are, they'll understand, anyway. When this is done, the air will be humming with the energy pouring from you, alone, plus that which has come from your grounding. Look up at the corners of the ceiling, and begin to envision a light beam (mine are a bright blue; I don't know why) beginning at your focus point, preferably in a corner where the walls meet at the ceiling. You are about to seal your home. Starting at the front, and ending in your room, you will draw the beam in a thin but unbroken line around your ceilings, getting into closets and drawing outlines around windows and doors. Mirrors may require more than one layer of light to feel closed, but go around their frames, don't try to seal the front. If you see folks in the mirror later, that's just means they're knocking. You will have made it impossible for them to come through without your invitation. Sealing your home will take some time. You must be thorough, cannot allow a line break to go unfixed (that doesn't mean you need to start over, just relayer the spot until the line is solid), and you must maintain your energy level, but you will be refreshed when you go through the re-grounding at the end, so, keep it going until you have sealing every line of the ceiling. Your own room will probably require the most attention; don't be stingy here, err on the side of overdo. Got every spot? I'm sure by now you will have noticed that the only "other" noises you hear are those created by your work, and things should be pretty peaceful. Return to the center of your home, and resupply the home with your energy, stretching until you feel yourself touching the new lines you've made, and feed them with your energy, until they take on a life of their own. Begin to ground again, pulling the energy back through yourself, feeding your source as you gratefully return most of the energy to the earth from which it came. Finish with a healing wave or two (use a visualization of water waves or breeze currents), the first and strongest directed at the Earth, the second at yourself. Remember to focus on your breathing, and open your eyes very slowly, so you don't get dizzy or come out too soon and get drained. This will keep the seal for anywhere from three to twelve months, depending upon your confidence in what you've done, your strength, and your level of experience. I like redoing these things every three months, for the main celebrations of the year -- I find they gain strength because of the time performed. |
