MY CAMARO WAS PURCHASED FOR 180.00 DOLLARS IN THE SPRING OF 1996.THE CAR WAS MOSTLY COMPLETE MINUS THE MOTOR. THE BODY WAS O.K. BUT THE INTERIOR WAS SHOT.
   I PUT A 305 IN IT AND DID THE BASIC MODS THAT MOST PEOPLE DO. IE.HEADERS, DUAL EXHAUST, 4 BBL CARB E.T.C. I GOT THE BODY IN PRIMER AND STARTED DRIVING IT AS IT WAS MY ONLY TRANSPORTATION.
   ONCE I GOT A SECOND VEHICLE I  NEGLECTED THE CAR FOR ABOUT A YEAR WHEN I GOT INERESTED IN RACING WITH MY PARENTS, AT NEW ENGLAND DRAGWAY.
   NOW THAT PERFORMANCE FUELED MY FIRE I DECIDED TO GET THE CAMARO DONE. WITH LOTS OF HELP FROM MY MOM, DAD,LITTLE SISTER,AND ALL MY FRIENDS THE CAR WAS PUT TOGETHER.(THANKS)
   IN THE SPRING OF 1998 I WENT TO THE TRACK TO TRY IT OUT. WHAT A DAY!!! MY FIRST RUN WAS IN THE LOW 15.'S(SUCK) MY NEXT RUN WAS SOMETHING I WILL NEVER FORGET,A BIG BLOCK MUSTANG CROSSED THE CENTER LINE AND HIT THE WALL RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!! SOME HOW I MADE IT AROUND HIM.
WOW!! LUCKILY HE WAS ALRIGHT AND FOR THE MOST PART SO WAS THE CAR. I DECIDED THAT THE NEXT ROUND WOULD BE MY LAST FOR THAT DAY,BUT THAT THE CAR WAS GONNA RUN IN THE 14.'S ONE WAY OR THE OTHER! I MANAGED A 14.89 @ 95.23 MPH! NOT BAD FOR A 305!
