My mum...The most precious thing in my life..Although she never fails to drive me up the wall every other day!If you knew me,you would know what I mean. She had a tough life when she was so much younger. But she had a tougher life when my dad passed away just 15 years after their marriage, leaving in her hands,a 6 yr old who had just started Primary 1(Grade 1).It was difficult for her, especially since this youngster was quite a handful and was very inquisitive.Yup,me!A very hyper kid,I was.But she took on a man's job of driving buses(as I mentioned, the only Indian lady bus driver and damn! Was I proud of her!).

She managed to endure the racism, the discrimination and the loneliness and paved my way to the University. If it was not for her iron hand and steely attitude (which I detested and still do nowadays!) that has helped me seen good days.

But being the proud woman that she is,she refuses to be docile even now that she has retired and stays home.

Here are some of the pictures that I managed to get scanned.I have yet to scan my Graduation pictures with her. Will post them I have done so.I have also included a pic of my dad,of whom I have only fond memories.Never failed to miss him from the day he left us to be with God.Miss you,Pa!
Always in my heart, someone I will always miss...My Pa...
My mum and me.On our way to an awards ceremony.I was receiving an award for being the top scorer in my 'O' levels for the entire Northern Estate.Though my mum didn't utter a word to me,She went around telling everyone who would listen how proud she was of me.Guess she didn't want my head getting too big!!
The latest I managed to scan.Taken just last year on my birthday.Older but aging well. Can see where I get my eyes from eh?
