| The Fourth Eye - Clinton Smith Rather disturbing Big Brother type story which could easily be fact. Good read. The War on Truth - Nafeez Mosadeq Ahmed Essential reading for everyone detailing the lies, deceptions and corruption of the current US government. A Short History of Nearly Everything - Bill Bryson Really interesting book. Lots of fascinating trivia included. Deception Point - Dan Brown Not as interesting to me. A good story, but didn't have me rivetted. Angels and Demons - Dan Brown Another good read, set in Rome. Enjoyable. |
| The Da Vinci Code Lots of hype and controversy over nothing really. The book was a good read and the movie followed the book pretty closely although it did plod along a bit. Ok, nothing to rave about. Lost in Translation Not bad. Quite interesting although I also found it quite depressing. Six Degrees of Separation Boring and unconvincing. Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas I loved this movie. Johnny Depp was brilliant. Bit slow in parts, but hilarious. Amelie Meant to watch this when it first came out but chatted to a friend instead and returned the DVD unwatched. Anyway, one of those fun, quirky French movies which are always a delight to watch. 28 Days Later A Brit 'zombie' movie. Quite good. Very different to the usual cliched zombie shit. Natural Born Killers Strange movie. Woody Harrelson was good. Harry Potter and the whatever Ok. A lot left out. Nothing extraordinary. One Last Chance British movie, set in Scotland. Wonderful simple story with subtle humour. The Punisher Didn't like the main guy at all - Tom Jane. No emotion, average acting. Average movie. The Butterfly Effect Interesting story. Glad I saw it at last. I Robot Yeah, alright for some mindless entertainment. |
