| Mother and Child Reunion With the reunion of Anna and Robin on AMC, Finola Hughes and Kimberly McCullough showed why they both have Emmy's and proved again why they are such gifted actresses. There was no yelling, overflow of tears or overdone mannerisms. What we saw was simple, subtle, beautiful acting. These performances touched the soul and hearts of many fans. We felt their emotions. I count their performances worthy of Emmy nominations and congratulate AMC for giving them such great work. As for GH, it surely missed out big time, and if they do not entice McCullough and Hughes back to GH after this reunion, then they are truly foolish. Hattie Milling, Normal, Ill. |

| Robert Scorpio may be dead in Port Charles, but he's apparently resurfaced alive and well back home in the land Down Under. Our office has been receiving a steady stream of postcards from Australia, ostensibly from the presumed-dead Aussie. "G,day from Australia," one begins. "Send a message to GH for me to bring me and my family home. Anna and Robin need me, and we need to go home to Port Charles." |

| Kimberly McCullough's recent return to daytime on AMC has fans hoping she'll return to GH along with her on-screen mother, Anna. "I truly miss these wonderful actresses on GH. I believe that they are being wasted on AMC," states Kellie R. Hayes of Bayside, NY, adding, "I commend AMC for bringing Anna back for a few days, but I honestly would prefer to be watching both Anna and Robin on GH." Other McCullough fans are disappointed that Robin isn't in Port Charles to see Carly's downfall. Ingrid Hayes writes, via e-mail, "I am loving the suffering Carly has to endure. She deserves it after the way she treated Robin." Kaz from Seattle, Wash., says, "I'm jumping for joy watching Sonny throw Carly out of the penthouse. Carly is getting what she deserves for all the sorrow and pain she has put Robin through." |
| *June 22,2001 From Soap Opera Weekly July 3, 2001 Dueling Divas Editor's column with Linda Susman and Carolyn Hinsey. The column is about crossovers on soaps. One section mentions Robin and Anna. Carolyn:...It's funny-the only thing GH fans want to see is Anna and Robin reunited back on their show, and that doesn't appear to be happening. But even though those scenes didn't work for me as a crossover, I am still happy I got to see them as a self-contained little miniseries on AMC. That's better than not seeing them at all, right? Linda: Don't bet your "Bring back Robert Scorpio" postcards from Australia on it! My comments: Keep up with the letters and postcards and keep telling ABC how much you want the Scorpio story to continue with Robin, Anna, Robert, Mac, Alex and Dimitri. |
