| "Lesbian "co-parent relationships" are more likely to end than heterosexual ones." LOL. I am actually laughing so hard right now I can't breathe. My parents divorced. My mom has been divorced 3 times. My step-brother's parents divorced. Almost all of my friends parents are divorced. The lesbian couple mentioned above has been together since before I was born. I think you need to take a closer look at the divorce rate, dumbass. "Do the American people want to see "marriages" between same-sex couples recognized by law?" Yes, actually, we do. At least most of the people who will be making the decisions while you're in the nursing home do. I think you'll find if you talk to intelligent americans who are actually concerned with the political world, you will find that they are either indifferent or for same-sex marriages. The people that the pollers are getting responses from are most likely staunch Christian fundamentalists. Poll those same people on women's rights, civil rights, etc. and see what answers you get. Amending the constitution to progress your backwards way of thought is wrong. Since you so firmly established that a marriage is not something that the government can define, I think you need to go back and read it before making your statement about a constitutional ammendment. And, by the way, you are the world's biggest asshole, besides, of course, the Bush family. |
| If you haven't noticed, I enjoy name-calling. It makes me feel better. And it may have been a little immature, but I don't feel that it was harsh. Anyways~ As promised.... |
