Do you believe in the Matrix?

Chapter 1

It was just an ordinary day for Glenn and Mark, another day another match. They just finished up Smackdown when they noticed Jean (Triple H) walk by in a hurry. "Odd....when was the last time you have seen Triple H in a rush?" Glenn asked Mark. Mark thought about it.
"Never really. He is always the first to arrive and the last to leave" he explained.
"Just as I thought" Glenn stated. He has one of those trouble making smirks on his face.
"Kane...I ain't stalking Hunter!" Mark immediatly said.
"Oh come on! Where is your sence of curriously?!" he asked.
"Probably knocked out by the chair Austin used on me tonight!" Mark replied. Glenn laughed.
"I thought I saw something knock out of ya! I thought it was your brain!" he laughed. Mark slapped the back of Glenn's head. "OW!"
"No wonder they made you Taker's little brother!" he stated. "You never shut up like one!"
"Come on Mark, let's see what Hunter is up to!" Glenn insisted.
"Ok! Ok....But if it's nothing. You owe me!" Mark warned. Glenn smiled. They followed Triple H to the boiler room, he walked in and they followed. Not wanting to be caught. They creeped in, and found Hunter at a door. He looked around and walked in. Glenn and Mark got to the door and looked in, it was too dark to see.
"I have never noticed this door and I have been to this arena over 50 times!" Mark muddered. They opened the door, and there was nothing! "You happy! There...nothin'!" Mark bellowed.
"OK....Where's Hunter!" Glenn shot back. There was a bright flash, and they were knocked out cold. Till they came too. Triple H sat before them. They were sitting on chairs.
"You guys followed me" Hunter stated.
"Jean, sorry it was Kane's idea!" Mark stated.
"You didn't have to come!" Glenn shot back.
"Guys please! I want to ask you something"
"Which would be?" Mark and Glenn asked.
"Do you believe in the Matrix?"

Chapter 2 The What?

"Huh?" Mark asked.
"The Matirx. It's what we are in right now! A universe made by man...and able to get anything or become anything..just by thinking about it....but..you must learn to let go" Hunter explained.
"Learn to let go? Matirx?...isn't that a movie?" Mark asked.
"It is...and it's real. The Matirx is dangerous. But it is also one of the greatest things to be part of! Ever notice me get stronger and quicker in the ring?" Hunter asked. Glenn and Mark nodded. "That what the matrix does. It makes you do what ever you want in this world...but in our world....it changes you forever. Whatever ability is given to you by the Matrix...is part of you for the rest of your life!"
"Huh...Hunter....one question...What's with the outfit?" Taker asked. Triple H had a black vest. With black pants and boots. His hair was ties to the back, and he wore a black over coat. He also had sunglasses on.
"One of the forms in the Matrix I can take. Kane...Try it" he stated. Kane stood up. And a smile appeared on his face. And in no time. Glenn was in the same treanch coat, black boots, black fingure gloves. His hair was tied, and a mask like the one he wears as Kane. Yet it's a tie on and the bottom part of his face is exposed.
"You forgot a shirt" Taker stated.
"Who said I wanted to wear one...I got hot!" Kane stated.
"Kane's a natural at this!" Hunter stated. He looked to Mark. "Your turn"
"No thanks." Mark replied. Hunter held out 2 pills one was black, the other was blue. "I'm not sick Hunter."
"Mark. Pick one" he stated. Taker looked at the pills. He picked up the black one. "Swollow it" he said. Mark was skeptical.
"Come on Mark! I don't think he is trying to kill you!" Glann laughed. Taker swollowed the pill....he then woke up all sweaty in his hotel bed.
"What a dream!" he mudded. The phone ranged. "Hello?" he asked.
"Mark...it's not a dream!" Came Glenn's voice...

Chapter 3 How he do that?

Mark hung up the phone and decided to take a shower. After his shower he got dressed and went down stairs. Glenn was there. "Ok, what the hell do you mean it was real? And how did you get into my dream!" he demanded.

"Mark. It's real, cuz I was there with you. When Triple H took you home that night. I stayed to see what I can do! and Mark....I can do anything!" Glenn stated. They got to the arena. There were the Hardy's practising their high flying moves. Glenn had a smirk on his face. He ran to the Hardys and he ran up the wall, ran on the wall as if it was the floor!
"Damn!" stated Farrooq, everyone knows what happens when you get Farrooq to say Damn. You either impressed him....he remembered something he forgot..or got him angry....This was am impressed Damn. When Glenn got off the wall. Matt and Jeff looked green with envy! Glenn smirked to Mark.
"A talent that makes even the most agile Hardy jelous!" Mark thought. After Glenn finsihed showing off the guys clapped. Matt and Jeff on the other hand nearly bulldozed him over!
"TEACH UP! TELL US HOW YOU DID THAT!" They demanded.
"I wish I could but what can I say!" Glenn replied. They got off of Glenn and When everyone left. With the kick of the feet. Glenn was on his feet!
"Damn" Taker muddered. Glenn brushed himself off.
"See! Look at what I can do now! I am a natural Hardy boy now!" Glenn stated.
"Kane, you are only like this since you believe in the Matrix crap! Besides. How long were you there?" Mark asked.
"All night. I didn't hit the bed!" Glenn explained.
"And you are energetic!" Mark demanded.
"Yeah!"
"I sure hope McMahon doesn't notice!"

Later that night....
The house show was taking place. Kane was up against RVD. One of the most high flying, risk takers there are! The match started off normal...till When RVD got to the top rope. Kane leaped up.....and he froze in mid air! Rob was shocked! Kane knocked Rob off the turnbuckle, and did a cork screw flip to chase him down! Kane landed feet first, he threw Rob back into the ring and got the 3 could....Taker looked at Rob's face...he was too scared to move! Vince walked in.
"What the hell was that!" he demanded.
"Ask Kane!" Mark replied.

Chapter 4...One of us

Glenn walked back into the locker room, the guys stared at him oddly. But Hunter was grinning form ear to ear! Vince approched Kane. "Kane...what the hell was that!" he demanded.
"Uh....good balance...a good breakfast....and luck?" Kane replied.
"Oh really...what did you have for breakfast this morining!" called Regal.
"Eggs! And alpha bits!" Glenn called back. Regal kept muddering Alphabits to himself. Vince looked back at Kane.
"Kane....I am making you the leader of team extream!" Vince ordered. "You are in charge of the Hardy Boys and Lita...Taker will going you too!"
"WHAT!" Kane demanded.
"They want to be taught and led by the best. Right now Kane...you're the best!" Vince smiled and patted Kane on his shoulder.
"One of us, one of us, one of us!" Chanted the Hardys from behind him.
"Guys knock it off!" Glenn ordered.
"Oh come on! We wanna know how to be suspended in mid air!" stated Jeff.
"And run up walls and walk on them!" said Matt.
"Not to meantion do everything else you do!" smirked Lita. Glenn rolled his eyes.
"Ok! ok! I will teach ya! Tomorrow!" Glenn stated. The Hardys nodded and left Kane alone. Lita winked at him! Triple H came out of his locker room.
"It ain't easy" he said.
"I know!" Glenn replied.
"Come on. I got lots to teach ya!" Triple H took Kane to the farmiller room in the boiler room. They walked in and it was nothing...but Taker sitting!
"I am going too!" Mark stated. Hunter nodded. The same familler flash flashed...and they were in a white room.
"This is the room that allows you to axcess anything!" Hunter stated. Kane thought about it.
"I could go for a nice big sandwhich!" Then the room filled with racks...of sandwhichs! Millions! from Penut butter all the way to sushi! Glenn got a deli, and the room emptied again!
"There is another thing you need to know...another knows about this room" Hunter stated.
"Who would that be?" Taker asked.
"US!" The turned to see Stephaine McMahon....and Sara!

Chapter 5 The non-believer...

"SARA!" Taker demanded. "How do you know about this place! And Stephanie!" Taker demanded.
"Well Mark, it happened back when DDP was stalking me. I was trying to get away from him when you were in the shower at the time. I came to the boiler room and found the door. It led me here...I found Triple H traning here. And he taught me a thing or 2" she replied. The room began to change. Glenn was smirking.
"Glenn what are you doing!" Taker demanded.
"Just watch!" he replied. There was another bright flash, next thing they knew....they were back in the ring. "See"
"Ok...we are back in the ring. Maybe I can finally have some normal time to myself!" Mark stated and got out. He went to the back. Kane smirked to Steph and Hunter.
"This isn't the real world!" Sara muddered to herself.
"I think he needs to learn that himself Sara. It will be the only way for him to truly understand. Kane understands it, cuz he's a big kid! He let's go of reality esaily!" Triple H smirked. Glenn grinned form ear to ear.
"Yeah....I just like to have fun with it!" he smiled. Kane started to close his eyes again, and he was in his clothing he first made in the Matirx.
"Ooooo. Nice outfit!" Steph smirked.
"Steph, how do you know about this place?" Sara asked.
"Well...Shane created it" she smirked.
"SHANE MCMAHON!" Glenn demanded.
"Yep, He did. It was a gift. A computer program...it sort of...well..got out of control" Steph explained.
"How can a computer program make a universe!?" Sara asked.
"Well. It blew up my lab top, it tore a hole in the fabric of time and space. Making this place" Hunter explained. Everyone started at Triple H oddly.
"You know that how?" Glenn asked.
"I was the strogest link the the weakest link you know!" he smirked. "But for now...let's go mess with Taker's head!"

Chapter 6. the Twilight zone.

Mark strolled down the halls, the guys were talking and smiling. "Oh man, that was a fantasitc chair shot! Look only 2 stiches!" stated Steven Richards
"I try you know. I didn't mean to hurt ya!" replied Austin, the saw Taker.
"Mark! How are ya!" they asked.
"Uh....fine...why are you guys so happy?" he asked.
"Oh no reason. It's just that we work in the best comapany!" replied Richards.
"Sure....sure" Taker muddered. He walked to the APA's office, there was an accual office! He walked in after knocking, and there were Bradshaw and Faarrooq dressing in black suits like the FBI! They had beer kegs, a pool table and poker table.
"Mark! How are ya...in need of protection?" Bradshaw asked. Mark stared at them oddly. "as in Body guards?"
"Uh...no...I am just fine...since when did you boys get a nice office?" he asked.
"We have always had a nice office!" they replied.
"Wanna beer?" Bradshaw offered. Taker passed it down. He walked out of the arena. And looked outside. No one was out! But 2 shadows were swirling in the sky.
"NEVER FEAR, THE HURRICANE AND MIGHTY MOLLY ARE HERE!" Mark looked up, there was Hurricane Helms and Might Molly flying....really..really flying! They landed before Mark.
"Citizen Taker. I am proud to be serving a city which you are staying it! You are truly a great citizen! Might Molly! To the skies! FLY AWAY!" And with that they were flying.
"What the HELL IS GOING ON!" Taker roared.
"Matrix" sanged Kane. Taker looked behind him. No one was there. "Up here!" he looked up, and on the wall. Was Kane! He stuck to the walls like Spider-man!
"Kane get down!" Mark roared. he shurgged and jumped off the wall. He landed before Taker. And he grabbed his arm.
"Mark...for goodness sakes. Let me show you it's real. If not. You can kick my ass later!" Glenn stated. Mark rolled his eyes.
"FINE! But you better be ready for an ass kicking!" he replied

Chapter 7 You can do what?!

As Glenn gave Mark the tour of the Matrix. Taker was still a non-bleliever. "Glenn no offence. But if this was some crazy world you could make into what ever you want. How come I am picturing a nice huge house. And we aren't in a huge house?!" Mark demanded. Glenn smirked.
"You don't think that hard to make it happen. Mark, watch this!" Glenn stated. He held his hand out, and make a huge burger appear.
"Glenn I know you're hungry and all..."
"I haven't even got to the good part yet!" he smirked. Glenn's jaw began to unhing like a snake. He fit the burger into his mouth and swollowed it whole. Mark looked sick when Glenn's throut shaped to the burger. Then Glenn looked normal again!
"What the hell did you do!"
"Mark, you got to learn to let go. Be a kid. When I was young, I pretended I was a snake! Having 3 other brother to contend with, you learn to get what you can to eat, and gulp it! I sort of thought of myself as a snake!" he smirked.
"So...you imagined you were a snake?" Mark asked.
"Yeah. Just think lightly about it. Like a day dream! Come on Mark. Humor me abit!" Glenn begged. Mark smirked.
"Ok...Ok..I will try" Mark's mind began to wander. He looked at Glenn, Glenn started to smirk. "What?"
"You're picturing yourself younger aren't you?" Glenn smirked.
"How did you know?"
"Cuz'....it's working!" Glenn pointed to a window, it became a mirror. Mark was shocked. He looked like his 30 year old self!
"Hey! I got some of the red back in my hair....I GOT SOME OF MY HAIR BACK!" he laughed.
"Why you were loosing some?" Glenn asked. Mark changed the subject.
"Shouldn't we get going?" he asked.
"So...you believe me now!" Glenn asked.
"Yeah, yeah! Ok! I believe ya!" Mark stated in a flash, they were back home. They walked out of the boiler room, and headed to the hotel for the night. Sara was waiting for Mark.
"So you believe us now?" she asked.
"I sure do. And I hope you will believe I will give ya a night you won't forget!" Mark smirked. Sara got on the phone.
"Yeah, Stacy. I won't be in tomorrow" and she hung up the phone, then unplugged it! "Prove it!" she shot back.

Chapter 8 Dude......

When Mark headed to the arena. He was refreashed. Sara was beeming. "Mark!.....Mark?" asked Tazz. Taker looked to him.
"What?" he asked.
"Well...you got hair colour, and you look 10 years younger at least! What's your secerte?" Tazz asked.
"Nothing but my own good looks I was born with" Taker replied. He and Sara went to the ring, There they saw Glenn and the Hardy boys. Kane stood on top of a 20 foot tall ladder.
"OOOOOOOOooo!" Kane bellowed before preforming a swantom bomb through a table....but sat up aftewards.
"WHAT! HOW ON EARTH CAN YOU TAKE THAT BUMP" Jeff demanded.
"Boys, it's all in the tranning and not to mention the diet!" Glenn stated.
"But Glenn...You are just...I don't know....not ment to be air born, and you are more aglie that Matt and I combined!" Jeff explained.
"It's nothing really boys!" Mark called. "It's all in the way you take the bump"
"MARK?" the Hardys demanded.
"Yeah...who else would it be!?" Mark shot back.
"But..you're young!" stated Matt. Taker shot a glare at him.
"Not that there is anything bad with that!"
"Wait till you see tonight boys" Glenn smirked. "We will show the world what we can do!"

Chapter 9 The flying brothers.

Later that night. Vince had made an announcement to the WWF talent. "Ladies and gentalmen of the WWF. I am proud to introduce a new team. Team Extream. Led by....KANE!" Vince announced, the room filled with laughter as Kane stood up.
"KANE! You BS'ing me Vince!" laughed Big Show. "I mean Glenn maybe agile...but as a Hardy boy!?" Kane decided to give them a demo.
"Show....can you do this?" Glenn asked. He ran up the wall and flipped backwards and landed on his feet. The room stopped laughing. A cricket was herd.
"damn!" stated Farrooq.
"Double Damn" stated Bradshaw.
"I third it!" called Big Show. "And don't mind what ever comes out of my mouth...I will just shut up and take everything back" Show stated sitting like a bad kid in a corner. Glenn smirked from ear to ear. Hunter smiled as well.
"And Team Extream is also welcoming Taker" Vince stated. No one dared laughed at Mark. Since he was back to his 29 year old physic. Sara too has joined Team Extream to give Lita a run for her money. "And tonight....who here is brave enough to take on Taker and Kane?" Vince asked. No volinteers.
"Oh come on guys!" Mark bellowed. "We will go easy on you!" Slowly. RVD raised his hand.
"Good one victom...I mean challanger!" Glenn smirked. Then the crowe was shocked...when Triple H put his hand up!
"I think I wanna see what Kane and Taker can do!" he smirked. Glenn smiled and nodded.

Smackdown.

RVD and Triple H went to the ring, then Taker and Kane followed. Kane ran to the front of the ring. Taker close behind. Kane suddenly stopped. Taker ran up his back, and leaped from his shoulders flipping and landing on RVD and Triple H. The crowd erupted, Kane leaped in the room clearing the top rope with easy. Taker took RVD out of the ring. as Kane and Hunter squared off.
"You ready for this Kane?" Hunter asked.
"All the way. No holding back!" he replied. Both leaped at least 30 feet in the air. Fighting, they remained air born till each hit each other down at the same time! They landed in the ring each on the turnbuckle across from each other feet first. Hunter smriked.
"You're holding back!" he smirked.
"So are you" Kane replied. The leaped again, Kane was getting shots in no problem catching Hunter off gurad. Kane suddenly vanished. He was no where in sight!
"What the hell!" Hunter pondered.
"Hello!" Kane laughed as he appeared behind Hunter knocked him down to the mat. Taker got to the top ropes and did a corkscrew swantom bomb! He got the three count. The arena didn't fill with cheers or gasps. Many people sat there in shock...with their mouths opened. Not saying a word.
"Whoa...I think they like us!" Taker laughed.
"You think?" Kane asked

Chapter 10 Whoa, whoa, whoa.....what did he say?

Later on. Kane and Taker went back to the Matrix and practised. "Kane. Did you see the look on Hunter's face! I mean damn!" Taker laughed as they walked down the simulated street. Glenn was grinning from ear to ear.
"Yeah. And I didn't think I could fly....I just. Let go! Let the kid in me take over. And boy....I am a big kid!" he laughed. Mark smirked as well.
"We are all on the inside." he replied.
"KANE!" bellowed Triple H. Glenn turned to face him. Hunter was still shocked. "How in hell did you do that!" he demanded.
"Do..what?" Glenn asked. "I didn't do anything!"
"Kane......"
"Why are you keep calling me Kane?" Glenn demanded.
"Cuz...he's taking over!" Hunter stated. Glenn began to laugh and Taker laughed as well.
"Kane...Glenn's character....is real...in the Matrix?!" Taker laughed. Hunter looked at Taker right in the eyes. Not once blinking. He was dead serious. Glenn got nervous too!
"So...what does this mean?" Glenn asked. Abit more worried.
"We will either have 2 Glenns. But one is Kane. Or...Glenn Jacobs becomes nothing but an alter ego!" Hunter stated.
"Wait...what about me?" Taker asked.
"What about you? You are just being younger! Taker is already part of you...It's Kane I am worried about!"
"Guys, you're scarring me!" Glenn stated. Just as his voice creaked. "You...you're just jelouse that I am more adapted to the matrix than you!" Glenn concluded. Just as his voice changed to Kane!
"Glenn was got to get you out of here for a moment. Till we know for sure what is going on!" Mark stated. Glenn agreed. They came out of the Martix portal. And went to their hotel room for the night. Glenn wasn't sleeping well. He was hot after a nightmare he had. He got up, and went to the bath room to wash his face. When he looked in the mirror. He screamed. Burn scars covered most of his face. He through it was paint form his mask and tried to clean it off. But it wouldn't come off!
"NO!" Glenn cried to himself. He couldn't let anyone see him like this. But what will the guys say about this....What will his wife say!?

Chapter 11 It starts

The next day. Mark waited for Glenn at the airport. Glenn was late today. Really late! Mark checked his watch, the plane was leaving in another 20 minutes. He then saw Glenn walk up to him in his Kane mask. "Glenn, take that damn thing off! We aren't at the arena!" Mark ordered.
"I...I can't" Glenn replied in his Kane voice.
"And Kane, no need to be in character!"
"Taker..I don't mean to be!" he shot back. "They won't let me on the plane like this....You go ahead. I will catch up" Glenn stated. Mark was skeptical.
"How are you gonna catch up to us?" Mark asked, Currious to know.
"I Just will!" Glenn growled back. He was more like Kane than he was Glenn. Mark got on the plane, and it took off. Mark was worried about Glenn.
"Mark...Something wrong?" asked Austin. "You look worried...You're not worried esaily!" Austin stated.
"It's Glenn" Mark replied.
"Ah. I see. He is changed and becoming Kane" Austin replied. Mark started at him oddly. "What? I know these things too! I am one of his friends as well!" Austin shot back.
"But...That's not what I am really worried about" Mark explained.
"So, what's is the bug up your ass anyway?" Austin asked.
"Kane is Undertaker's brother right?" Mark asked. Austin nodded. "If Kane were to be real. Would he call Mark Callaway his brother? Or would he go out look for Taker and not stop looking till he finds him?"
"Mark....you been watching X files too much! Stick with the Sapranos!" Austin laughed. When the plane landed. Mark when right to the arena. There was Glenn sitting in the ring!
"GLENN?" Mark called. He sat up, like the way Kane does after getting knocked down. He tilted his head.
"You're..not Taker!" he said in his Kane voice. Triple H came out.
"Kane, I told you we will find Taker! I promise" Hunter stated. He then turned to Mark. "You..me...walk!" He demanded. They left Glenn alone in the ring. "Kane is out. Glenn....is gone" Hunter stated.
"What the hell do you mean he's gone! Where did Glenn go!" Mark demanded.
"Kane, took over Glenn. He doesn't know any better, to him. The way people are in the ring. Is the way Glenn sees them. He doesn't see you as Taker.....Is a mystery to me!"
"So what the hell do we do! Let Kane wonder the arean beating up people who he's fueding with in the ring!" Mark demanded.
"No. We need to see if there is some how...some way we can get Glenn to come out. And Take over!" Triple H stated.
"Great. How do we do that?" Mark asked.
"We need Taker help. Come with me. You need to be ready for this!"

Chapter 12 The choice.

Triple H got Mark to the Matrix room, and entered the Matirx. "Ok. What the hell are you saying I gotta do! I have to be Undertaker?" Mark demanded.
"Yeah. It's the only way Kane will listen. He won't listen to me for long! He need his brother!" Hunter explained.
"Great! I am gonna need to get therapy!" Mark growled.
"Mark! Seriously! We need Taker! And we need him NOW!" Hunter growled.
"So...how do I get Taker to come out and play?" Mark asked sarcasticlly.
"Simple. You need to let go!" Hunter stated. He then punched Mark in the face. Shocking Mark.
"WHAT THE HELL!" Mark bellowed.
"Come on Taker! Come out and play!" Hunter growled. and Punched him again. Mark was starting to bleed from his lip. He looked at the blood on his fingures, and looked back at Hunter.
"You...don't wanna do this!" Mark growled. But feeling odd saying it. "Mark...let me at him!" Hunter smirked to himself. it was working.
"Oooo deadman holding himself back?" Hunter taunted.
"Hemsley! I am warning you!" Taker was coming through more and more. Mark can't control him. Hunter was about to punch him once more. But Taker knocked him down flat on his back.
"Taker?" he asked.
"Damn right! Hunter. Next time...just ask! No need to go knockin' my brain out! Mark can't take a beating like I can! Now...where's Kane?" he asked. Hunter led him out of the Matrix, and into the arena. He looked around, But his head shot off to a direction.
"Kane's over here" Hunter explained leding him to the ring.
"No he ain't. Kane is over here...I can sence him" Taker growled back, he led him to the locker room, there he found Kane in the locker room, curled up. And Kane was crying.
"Taker...where are you!" he cried.
"Kane" Taker called softly. Kane looked up, and saw Taker.
"Brother? Brother!" Kane cheered and hugged Taker. "Taker. What has become of us?" Kane asked.
"Relax little brother. It will all be over!" Taker replied.
"Hunter. Open the Matrix door once again" Taker ordered.
"What? Why?" Hunter asked.
"It needs to be closed. And now. Kane and I need to be one with the Matrix. That's the only way Glenn and Mark can come back." Taker replied.

Chapter 13- Final

Kane and Taker walked into the matrix one last time. "Brother, what will become of us if we do this?" Kane asked.
"To be honest. I do not know. But we need to shut it down" Taker replied.
"But where do we go to do that?"
"Simple. Where are we right now?" Taker asked Kane. Kane looked around, they are at the arena they were in before they got here.
"The arean!" Kane concluded.
"Bingo. And now the murging process" Taker stated he rubbed his hands, and slammed his fingures deep in the ground! "Kane, do as I do. And what ever you do...do not let go!" Taker ordered. And Kane did that. Kane noticed gridmarks on his hands moving upwards!
"Taker! What's going on!" Kane paniced.
"Kane....relax. It's much to take it. But it must be done!" Taker replied as gridmaks began to cover his arms.

Meanwhile...
Triple H pased out side of the Matrix door. White light was coming out of the door, and that never happened before! "Hunter, what's going on?" Steph asked.
"Kane and Undertaker are shutting down the Matrix" he replied. Steph was shocked.
"What will happen to them?" Steph asked. There was a huge bursting white light. Then darkness. Hunter walked into the room, He saw Glenn and Mark, Asleep on the floor.
"Glenn! Mark!" Hunter called.
