Ann Putnam was the eldest child of Ann and Thomas Putnam, born
October 18, 1679. Following the witchcraft era, she was always
referred to as a sickly person. She made a public confession,
stating that there were never any witches, during the witchcraft
episode in 1706, when she requested (and was granted) full membership
into the Salem Village Church. She died in 1716, never having been married.
