| Religions of the world Zoroastrianism -good, evil, and sometimes father god -fire is sacred -originated in Iran teachings of Zoroaster -Heaven, Hell, and limbo according to works in life -resurection at end of time -purpose to live a life befitting a soul progressing to Ahura Mazda -many believe that concepts in Christianity, and Islam are derived from Zoroastrianism -3 main groups, liberal(reform), conservative(tradition), and inbetween Baha'i -eventually there will be one religion and one government -has Administrative Order -teachings of Baha'u'llah -2 main groups, Haifan tradition, and the rest Buddhism -Progression of the individual to a constant state of enlightenment. Minor enlightenments can occur along the way. Complete enlightenment is complete OM. There are many different sects, the eastern sects are more fundamentalist and teaching oriented. They often claim to be the only true sect, much like Baptist vs Catholic. The wesern sect is being recognised as almost a completely new religion. The focus is on enlightenment. |
| Current beliefs: 9-03: Animals have spirit, but not soul (maybe they do 10-05). Spirit is energy, soul is identity. Goal of soul is to return to state of godliness iow progress to omniscience, omnipotence, and omnipresence. All humans are erronious to some degree, therefore all human teachings are erroneous to some degree. Soul can KNOW things, body tries to interpret, but cannot be perfect in translation. "Genetic" and spiritual memories are what is sometimes called past lives. The chakras are important to the spirit. Time is only motion. Time is a kind of dimension, like space but not directly part of space, in the sence that without time, space could still exist in 4 dimensions or more. Parts of human: Jesus is the way by which I will avoid being destroyed. Levels of Hell: pre-christ, all in the same place; Limbo, souls of the in-betweens, place to possibly heal; Hades, place of self torment, possibility of healing, or dieing; The Pit, ultimate Self-destruction, Deletion, God forgets about souls, souls never existed, memories remain, but existance does not. Levels of Heaven: City, happy souls not changing much; Path, soul grows; godliness, soul reaches infinity. Auras have not been even shown to me to be anything more than simple afterimages on the retina. Subconscience is omniscient. All things have spirit. Existance is good, nonexistance is evil. The way one lives one's life ought to be the focus untill the way of life is good. Jesus is the way. Enlightenments can and do occur. I have experienced one such event, and await future such events. |
