| Keepers - Any player may be kept by a team if that player was on their roster at the end of the previous year. The costs of keeping that player are as follows: - If the player is a second-year player (ie., they were not kept the previous year), then the cost to keep them is their cost from the previous year plus an additional 3 credits. - A third-year player's cost is his cost from the previous year plus 6 credits. - A fourth-year player's cost is his cost from the previous year plus 9 credits. - A fifth-year player's cost is his cost from the previous year plus 12 credits. - No team can go over the salary cap (100 credits) when keeping players, and each team must have at least as many credits as it does available roster spots. Rosters and Lineups - All rosters must have 16 players. - TE's are to be considered WR's. - A starting lineup consists of the following: - 1 QB - 1 RB - 2 RB/WR - 2 WR - 1 K - All lineups are to be turned in to the commisioner by noon Sunday. On weeks that have Thursday or Saturday games, only the players that are playing in those games need to be turned in early, which is by kickoff of that particular game; the rest of the lineup is due by noon on Sunday. - If a lineup is not turned in on time, then the previous week's lineup will be used (no penalty). If a lineup is not turned in for week 1, then the players with the highest auction values will be used. Pickups - All pickups are on a first-come, first-served basis. - When picking up a free agent you must also designate a player to be waived. If a requested pickup does not also have a designated waived player, then that request will be ignored. - All pickups and waived players will be posted on the web site on a daily basis (or more likely a late-nightly basis). - As soon as a player is placed on waivers (and put on the web site), that player is eligible to be picked up. There is no waiting period. - If a player who was bid upon at the auction is placed on waivers and then picked up at a later date, that player retains their auction value. All other free agents will have a value of 3 credits. - Players may not be picked up after week 14 (the end of the fantasy regular season). Trades - Trades can be made between any number of teams involving any number of players. Only players can be traded; no cash or credits. - If a trade causes a team to have more than 16 players, that team must waive enough players to bring them to 16 in order for the trade to go through. Also, if a trade causes a team to have less than 16 players, that team must pickup enough players to bring them to 16 in order for the trade to go through. - Trades may take place starting on the keeper deadline day (this year: August 8th) and ending on Saturday of week 12 (this year: November 27nd). Trades may be planned and set up before and after these dates, but can officially take place only during these dates. Playoffs - The playoffs will consist of four teams: the two division winners, and two wild-card teams with the best record regardless of division. - On week 15, the division winner with the best record plays the wild-card team with the lesser record in one semifinal, and the other two teams play in the other semifinal. The two semifinal winners then meet in the Fantasy Bowl in week 16. - The tiebreaker process is as follows: - Best record - Head-to-head matchup - Record in division (division tiebreaker only) - Most points scored Payouts - The payouts are as follows: - Fantasy Bowl champion - $100 - Fantasy Bowl runner-up - $50 - Each division winner - $50 - Each 2nd place in division - $20 - High points for the week (weeks 1-14) - $10 - 2nd high points for the week (weeks 1-14) - $5 |
