recently, hana has apparently learned the japanese word for flatulence, as she matter-of-fact-ly announces each occurence (her own, of course :o) with a somewhat hushed "poo."

hana's sixth baby tooth has arrived! although in most every other aspect, hana seems to be ahead of the class so far, this is one department in which she is certainly taking her time!

hana is pretty big (30 inches, 24 lbs. @ 14 months) for her age, and so the effect is especially comical when she goes into her sumo wrestler posing routine, spontaneously squatting with hands placed on thighs and rocking back and forth until the roar of applause invevitably arrives.
