the three of us went to the third street promenade in santa monica today. hana went on a fall fashion shopping spree at baby gap! she now officially has more clothes than mama and papa combined! her great auntie setsuko is in town from toronto, so we had dinner with her and her husband at granny june's place, where hana performed her whole repertoire of new words and gestures.

we attended the wedding of our friends, robyn sato and geoff mukae today at the marriott hotel in newport beach (congratulations, robyn and geoff !!!)...it was a very nice wedding and we got to see all of our NYC friends again (cyndi, ron, herbie, lou, rich, john, angela, dan, yuki, and joel...am i missing anyone?), all in one place! hana was a bit cranky at first, but then started enjoying herself...she wore her "my little angel" white dress again, and looked really cute (another totally unbiased opinion here, of course).
