Friday, September 22, 2000after finishing her nightly bath, hana was cranky cranky cranky...that is, until we resorted to the secret weapon: hana's video of andrea boccelli and sarah brightman singing "time to say goodbye" from the phantom of the opera. ever since she was about 6 months old, she has become engrossed in this one opera performance...don't know why, but hey, it works! she and her momma are going to auntie akemi's bridal shower tomorrow, while papa will be out on the links with (future) uncle david and grandpa henry.
Wednesday, September 20, 2000papa scolded hana for picking her nose today, and for the first time, hana seemed like she truly "got it"...her response? face flushed, tears welled up, bottom lip curled down, and she started crying with that "geez, i don't like being scolded" sort of look. kawaisou, hana chan : )well, hana's great grandma fumiko has been moved from the icu to a regular room at cedar-sinai...she had been in there suffering from a bleeding ulcer which in turn had caused some sort of kidney problem...but she's a strong lady, and not ready to go just yet...GANBATTE fumiko o-baachan!!!
Tuesday, September 19, 2000hana got her first pair of "real" shoes this past sunday at macy's in del amo...a pair of white leather stride rite cherubs. she was all over the mall!
