Saturday, September 16, 2000to all of you who attended hana-chan's birthday party last sunday, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! we are still new yorkers at heart, but having all of you close by sure makes la a great place to be too!hana checked out just fine with dr. nakashima yesterday...it was her 1 year old exam...she got 3 shots and cried a bit, but otherwise all went smoothly...we went to the la county museum of art today but couldn't get in because of an expired membership card...instead, we returned to the park labrea fountain and lounged for a bit...hana has started picking her nose just like her auntie akemi used to do when she was a tot!!!
Thursday, September 14, 2000our little angel turned 1 year old yesterday...HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HANA-CHAN...we love you very, very much!...hana's grandparents, henry and june takei, took of for hawaii today to give a lecture series
