The second race of the 2002/ 2003 RSO Indoor season took place on January 5th at the Scooter's Roller Palace in Mississauga. The floor condition was very slippery, which made for some tough racing in all the categories. Once skaters hit the top speed, it was very difficult to pass. The fastest lap times were in the low 11.0 second range, and that was due to the slick track. All things being equal, skaters with the better start usually wound up in the better spot at the finish. It was interesting to note that in all the divisions, most skaters finished within a few meters from each other, but just could not pass each other.

There was only one fall and virtually no fouls. This is excellent considering the fact that all the categories were very even and there was very little lapping. The relays ended up being mixed with skaters of all abilities being matched up so that relay teams were as equal as possible.

(RESULTS & TIMES WILL BE POSTED WHEN THEY ARE AVAILABLE)

The last 4 laps featured Aaron Arndt, Peter Doucet, Herb Gayle, and Jordan Belchos in a battle. Belchos managed to surprise onlookers and held off the cream-of-the-crop and take the win the 1500, with Doucet coming in 2nd.
