The first and only pure human to sit upon the bright palace's throne, she was Dierdriu, she was the heart of Ireland. It was she who paid the sorceror's to build Tara from Ireland's bedrock, to use their magic to create the most magical kingdom, and the heart of Ireland. Dierdriu was the one who outsmarted the curse of Tara and created the beastline enchantment to prevent any human from sitting on Tara's throne again. The Beastline enchantment was a complicated spell, woven by many sorcerors for a very costly price. The enchantment allowed the nobility of Tara to lay with the animals, producing offspring that were not purely human, but not purely animal, but a mixture of the two. Dierdriu was the guinea pig, and was the first to lay with an animal. Choosing the wolves the High queen lay with an alpha wolf, and soon after had a son, the first ever wolfking, Cael Mac Airt.
Dierdriu ruled many years after the birth of her son, until the Dark Ireland attacked yet again. This time they got the best of her and she was killed, but upon her death she promised she would return, and return she did.
